Week 14  (Fyp1)


Title: Proposal remarks / correcctions and submitting the final proposal.


This week is about the completion of the [SOW] scheme of work for FYP 1. I had collected my submission of proposal from my advisor and do some corrections. The entire requirement from SOW FYP 1 have been completed.

Week 13  (Fyp1)

Title: Proposal preparation and Completion.


This week i had made an addition to the Proposal, i've completed chapter 2 (literature review)
and chapter 3 (methadology). I also go to the meet my advisor for her opinion for my proposal on my mistakes or misplaced something.

The proposal have to be submitted at week 14 and it consist of :


  • Chapter 2 ( literature review )

    • Backgroud study
    • Power supply
    • microcontroller ATMEL
    • PIR sensor
    • GSM
  • Chapter 3 ( methadology )
    • Project methadology
    • Block diagram.
    • Flowchart.












Week 12 (Fyp1)

Title: Presentation FYP 1 and proposal preparation.


For this week, i have to prepare the slides presentation and start to completing the FYP proposal. The presentation will be held at Gemilang Hall at 2pm.

Week 10 ( Fyp 1)

Title: Preparation of a slideshow for a presentation for FYP 1.

To make it easier for a description of my project , I've created a slideshow on the project that I been working on and that is the wireless pigeon hole.

Week 9 ( Fyp 1)

Title: Research and Finding  (GSM)

GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications, originally Groupe Spécial Mobile), is a standard developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) to describe the protocols for second-generation (2G) digital cellular networks used by mobile phones, first deployed in Finland in July 1991. As of 2014 it has become the default global standard for mobile communications - with over 90% market share, operating in over 219 countries and territories.

2G networks developed as a replacement for first generation (1G) analog cellular networks, and the GSM standard originally described a digital, circuit-switched network optimized for full duplex voice telephony. This expanded over time to include data communications, first by circuit-switched transport, then by packet data transport via GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) and EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution or EGPRS).


Subsequently, the 3GPP developed third-generation (3G) UMTS standards followed by fourth-generation (4G) LTE Advanced standards, which do not form part of the ETSI GSM standard.
